There was plenty of WBH runners in action today at various parkruns locally and beyond. Dominic Ashton finished an impressive 3rd at Perry Park with a time of 20:17. Dom is currently in great form ahead of the London Marathon.
Elsewhere there was an superb run at Walsall Arboretum from Ultra-marathon man Gary Smith who was racing over an unfamiliar distance and was rewarded with a sub 20 time, this was off the back of a somewhat long warm up. Gary’s time of 19:56 put him in 22nd position. Also in action at Walsall was Bev Ward (27:37) and John Buckby (30:49).
Paul Stevens ran in to 14th place at Wye Forrest with a 22:38 time showing a good run of form.
A bit further afield and running incognito Russell Collins flew the maroon flag at Parke Parkrun… maybe without his barcode though!
