Training 04/04

Norman Split miles – new session.

Carried out in the Park Hall estate – 1.5 warm up  taking us the junction of Greaves Avenue and Normal Road.

Session is a 1k  effort at 5k pace (45 seconds recovery) then 600m (90 seconds recovery) at a faster pace. Recover for 90 seconds before repeating to a total of 5 efforts.

Idea is to get the body and legs moving faster than race pace, similar to the themes of this cycle of training.

Marathoners will be completing the two efforts back to back with no recovery but at 10k pace.

Coach in attendance so alternative bespoke efforts can be discussed.
