A beautiful spring day for our first relay event of 2019. The team was out in force in Sutton Park on this glorious Saturday afternoon (especially compared to the frost bite from last year’s event!)
The race was a 12 stage relay for the men and a 6 stage relay for the women with runners completing a long or short leg of the relay.
Both the men and the women had complete teams for the event despite the women’s team being dubbed the walking wounded of West Brom just days before!
Team base was set up on the start/finish straight, the perfect place to cheer on team mates for that final sprint.
